About the Founders
Karmen LaMer
Karmen LaMer is the founder of Tight Clinic Toronto, a female founded business that provides cutting-edge, non-surgical skincare treatments and the finest medical-grade products to help people reach their individual self-care goals.
As a Cancer Survivor, entrepreneur, and supporter of all things integral to strong women, Karmen’s drive, ingenuity and love of the health and beauty industry, led her to scour the globe and bring to market the best in innovative treatments, steering her company into a multi-million dollar business.
Karmen believes in the power of the female, in the doing of the un-doable and the plight to help all women do what they never thought would be possible.
Sarah Vander Meer
Sarah Vander Meer is the founder and event producer of Charlie & Sprocket, an award winning, global event production agency.
With over 17 years experience producing events, campaigns, tours and brand activations, Sarah has built a distinguished reputation for creating unforgettable event experiences that bring state-of-the-art ideas to life. With her innate strategic approach and keen eye for the aesthetic, Sarah helps brands make lasting impressions that drive impactful results.
With past professional event engagements such as co-producing the NFL Women’s Summit, for years she has wanted to create a platform for women to connect, learn and empower one another, in hopes to create opportunities for them and others.
